John C. Ricker has been taking pictures since he was eleven years old. He took photos of everything he found in front of his lens, and his parents encouraged his interest in photography. As he got older this interest grew with him.

Eventually the digital revolution came to pass and John embraced it. Digital photography allowed John to use his graphic design skills and computer knowledge to take his art to the next level. Not only did he improve his traditional art, but he began using computer image processing to merge photos together and create colorful digital art.

John's strength is his versatility. His gallery contains everything from tranquil nature scenes, to birds in flight, to man-made objects, to avant-garde photo composites.
